It sure has been a busy last few days. Last Friday we packed our cars, bright and early, to take our first load of stuff to Ann Arbor.
After an eventful closing, with the seller taking a couple of extra hours to move out, we dumped everything in the living room.
And then took care of our driver’s licenses and license plates. We were happy that, unlike PA, we could do both at the same location here in MI.
Over the weekend we started on some home projects.
Janie painted a bunch of trim.
And Tim worked on the pantry, vacuuming then scrubbing away a lot of insect residue before applying a fresh coat of paint.
Meanwhile, Janie taped the office to prep for painting.
We painted three walls of the office a pretty light blue.
And the pantry is re-assembled (although the door is a pain) and ready to be rearranged.
We hope to finish the office tomorrow and then all our stuff arrives on Tuesday!
