It was quite a project replacing the old bathroom sink, but also very rewarding after finishing. Here is one last look at the old, ugly sink.
Removing it was a lot easier than expected, although the valve for the hot water line leaked.
The fame was assembled last weekend, so it was just a matter of drilling holes in the tile for the wall-mounting anchors and screws.
The counter top is pretty heavy…but the real pain was doing a nice caulk line along the wall…..until a finger was tried which made it a lot easier.
Connecting the plumbing was a real jig saw puzzle, with several hack saw adjustments needed to fit it all and allow the drawers to close. And there was a trip to Home Depot to get an extensions adapter for the lines from the new faucet to the wall.
Look at all that counter space! And drawers! Quite the change, and it looks great….with no leaks so far.
Now we just need to add a towel rod and do some painting.
