Cubs – Pirates, for the last time

On Tuesday, August 2nd we caught our last Cubs-Pirates game of the summer. This was the second game of a four-game series in Pittsburgh. Thanks to the Pirates’ generous ticket-exchange program, we traded our two tickets from a game we skipped in April due to weather for this game, sitting one row closer in our normal section.

The Cubs blasted 6 home runs (3 for the Pirates) to run away with this game. The Pirates scored a few times in the bottom of the ninth to make it a little interesting, but the Cubs still won 11-6.
