Janie and I went to an exhibition sled hockey game on April 9th. It was between a local sled hockey team – Mighty Penguins – and physicians and students at the UPMC Rehabilitation Institute. Tim’s boss Doug played, giving up a bunch of goals in the first period. We enjoyed watching the novice clinicians flounder while the Mighty Penguins flew circles around them.
At the end, the UPMC team went “all in” to try and catch up from a 17-2 deficit, so the ice got pretty packed…
